Hemeryck Godart Stables Support the horse with enthusiasm to the top level

A beneficial event

9 May 2016

Last weekend, seven horses crossed the French-Belgian border again to go at the Touquet international show jumping.

The seven-year-old horses were registered in classes labelled Young Horses. Generally speaking, they were very promising. Jarvi de Sclef completed a perfect course on Friday (1.30m). Jule de Lauzelle ranked on Thursday on his first round and then qualified for the jump-off during the Grand Prix (1.35m) on Saturday. A lack of luck deprived him form ranking but the horse thus gain experience. “The horses jumped very well. They learned a lot on their courses.” (RH) Concerning Jarpur, he realized two clear rounds with notably a ranking on Thursday. “There’s now a real understanding between us. It’s a very respectful horse towards his bars and with a bright future.” (ASHG)

Even if the results were not there, Ilka Van de Kiezel showed great things and completed beneficial working classes for her future events. “It’s a mare which can sometimes be delicate on track but with still resources which announce a good evolution.” (ASHG)

Bamako de Muze’s son, Bretling du Paradis Z, lacks luck on his courses particularly on Sunday by dropping a bar on a round quoted at 1.45m. “The horse was willing to do well on his classes despite the difficulty and the height.” (RH)

The piebald Selle Français, Ulyss Morinda, took part in labelled 3* classes where he made great rounds. “Ulyss behaved well on track but he needs to harden so as to gain in regularity.” (RH) The training in the coming days will certainly enable him to engage in competition.

Carlitto Van’t Zorgvliet began his weekend with a clear round on track and then jumped well on Sunday in the Grand Prix at the colors of the “Grand Hôtel du Touquet” in spite of little mistakes from the triple at the end of the course. “I’m pleased with the quality of his jumps. This horse remains a sure value.” (RH)

This week, Rik will be on Belgium lands for the national show jumping of Meerdonk while Anne-Sophie will defend French colors at the labelled 2* international of Opglabbeek.
