We get up each morning with our eyes focused on the future and towards the evolution of our partners; a perpetual recommencing which fascinates us and helps us to make progress.
Have a good look at our site where we are certain you will see the sort of horses we have trained and which you would expect, healthy in body and in mind.”
Our Facilities
Situated in the region of Walloon, in the commune of Wavre, is a french speaking Belgian town which offers a significant urban dynamism and ease of accessibility by road. At only 15 minutes from Brussels and not far from the French frontier, our facilities allow us to evolve independently in a pleasant setting for our horses.
Formerly named the Lauzelle Stud (Haras de Lauzelle) the Hemeryck Godart Stables is composed of:
50 boxes
an outside arena of 50m x 80m (Evrard equestrian surface with geotextile)
a schooling area of 24m x 56m (Evrard equestrian surface with geotextile)
a covered lungeing circle
an outdoor lungeing circle
8 grass paddocks
1 sand paddock
wooded bridle tracks
The facilities were taken over by Rik Hemeryck in 2002. Anne-Sophie joined him during 2007. Together they have striven to make the necessary improvements not only to make the most of their operation but also to maximise the comfort of their horses.
The development of their equine business is today their priority while all the while keeping hold of their highly competitive place at the very top level of showjumping.
Work, serenity, honesty and respect for the animals are the values you will sense when you arrive at these stables!
